Solo trip. Got stung by a yellow jacket. Peaceful camping at little Crater Lake. Had the lake and the mountain to myself. Fun morning hike/scramble to summit and then back to my car. 23 hours total. I could only see as far as Jack Mountain from the summit. My phone battery died so wasn’t able to take a summit photo. I signed a piece of paper in the PVC tube with charcoal from something off the old lookout. Nice story about Gary Snyder in the summit register. It’s worth the trip.
