I figured if I was going to win this thing I better put on my boots and start clicking some peaks. Last switchback on the road still blocked with snow so had to park below. Trail is clear all the way to the ridge. Still snow on the north and east aspects once you gain the ridge. Traversed the snowfield until it met back up with the trail just below the old lookout site. Had lunch and cold beverage at the top. Great views even though it was overcast and nice people on the trail.
