From Maple Pass follow some animal tracks to Horsefly Pass. Continue on to the boulder field and cross to the SE ridge. Climb the ridge as far as possible before moving on to the face. The face is downward sloping ledges with plenty of loose rock, so caution is advised if going in a group. Climb towards the notch. From the notch, gain the summit staying on the east face. Return same route. A spicy fun scramble typical of the NW. Took an ice axe but did not need it. Helmet advised!
