Decided to adventure up to Mount Ann for a day trip. The road to Artist Point was still not open. Parked at the mid point and picked my way connecting snow bands. Found the Lake Ann trail and started the decent into the valley. At the Lake Ann trail fork I kept on Swift Creek trail and crossed the creeks till I got to the north side on Ann. Left the trail and bushwhacked my way to the upper portion of the creeks were it was under the snow in the gully. Cramponed it up the gully, connected a couple rock bands to the summit block. Easy scrambled to the top. On the way back I decided to return via Lake Ann. Was hoping to work around Annette but stay too high and ended up down climbing the north ridge of Annette which I recommend against. There is a easy trail on the east side w I missed. It was quite an adventure.
I tried to mark up the route on the photo :)
